Sandra Molle, LPC, BCN
Clients I work with: Adult individuals, emerging adults, and groups
Issues I work with: Anxiety, depression, anger issues, self-esteem, life transitions, loneliness, trauma, work or peer conflict, grief and loss, relationships, self-harm, parenting, family of origin issues, and habitual negativity.
I specialize in emotional ease and the healing of issues that impact our functioning. With over sixteen years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist, I support clients to access their inner resources and strengthen coping skills so they can design the life they seek.
My work often focuses on learning ways to turn emotions into wisdom, manage stress, and deepen meaningful connections with loved ones. With a basic understanding of how our brains develop, clients can learn to train their brains to cultivate a peaceful place and present place inside them that can be relied upon in moments of need.
Training in neurofeedback and DBT allows me to help clients understand how their brains contribute to fight, flight, or freeze coping patterns, especially in response to the people we love the most. These brain-based techniques are used alongside talk therapy to heal unresolved issues and change maps for connection.
I facilitate a DBT Skill Building Group for adults, further information on this group can be found here.
I am approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling as an LPC Supervisor. I offer Supervision services to Residents in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy who are working towards licensure.
I am currently serving as President of Northern Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors, a professional organization for all people in or training to join the counseling profession in Northern Virginia. I value the opportunity to assist new clinicians in setting and maintaining high standards in the field of counseling
