It’s Not About What We Do
It’s about why we do it
At The Center for Connection, Healing and Change, we believe that therapy is more than addressing symptoms — it is a pathway back to connection, wholeness, and security. Our work is grounded in the belief that when we heal our ‘stuff’, we open up space to live more authentically, give and receive love more deeply, and experience calm and safety.
We know that when we transform our wounds into wisdom, this profound change ripples out into our relationships, work, and the world around us. We support clients to live with full permission to be fully themselves, living with greater confidence, compassion, creativity, and connection.
We specialize in relationships and the profound impact they have on our sense of self. Relationships can be our greatest source of comfort, validation, and joy. They can also be our greatest source of pain, missed needs, or beliefs that aren’t the truth of who we are.
If you’re curious about the roots of your anxiety, depression, sense of self, pain, patterns, limiting beliefs, or relationship struggles, we offer evidence-based maps to help you create lasting change.
Our work goes beyond symptom relief and into the deeper work. Our highly skilled therapists can help you make sense of your experiences, get to the origins of your struggles, and deepen your capacity to love and be loved as your full self.
Together, we’ll explore the ways you’ve learned to manage emotions, stress, hurt, protection, needs, conflict, and repair. In your relationships, we’ll help you loosen the grip of old patterns, share feelings and needs more openly, and create new ways of being together that feel authentic, life-giving, and emotionally intimate.
Our therapists are human, too, and believe deeply in the transformative power of therapy. That’s why we specialize in Self of the Therapist work, committing to actively engage in our own processes of connection, healing, and change, in service of ourselves and the clients we serve.

Relationships make the world go round
The key to lasting happiness
Our Philosophy
At The Center for Connection, Healing & Change, we believe that the quality of our lives is deeply tied to the quality of our relationships – the relationship with ourselves, and with our loved ones.
Our Models
Our therapists specialize in working with adult individuals and couples. We have advanced training in evidence-based models grounded in the science of secure attachment, family systems, trauma-informed care, emotion regulation, and somatic (body-based) psychotherapy.
All therapists complete advanced clinical training in the models we utilize. We then provide ongoing model-specific supervision, consultation, and training so that our therapists are always deepening their skills and honing the maps they have for creating lasting change.
Our Team
Each CCHC therapist offers a different area of clinical focus, allowing us to work with a wide range of human and relational struggles. From your very first contact, our Intake Specialist will take time to understand your needs and thoughtfully match you with a therapist who has the relevant skills and experience for your particular needs and goals.
Collaborative Care
We offer a highly collaborative and creative model of therapy. Often, we work with individuals and couples within the same family system, carefully coordinating care across therapists and services so healing and growth can be strategic, connected, and effective. Clients can benefit from the depth of our clinical expertise through short-term consultations with additional therapists (such as EMDR) or through active collaboration within our team.

Start Enjoying Your Life, Not Enduring It
Honor your wholeness as you connect, heal, and change
Explore Our Integrative, Systemic, and Holistic Approach
At the Center for Connection, Healing & Change, we value connection and healing at every level of human experience: mental, emotional, physical, relational, sexual, and spiritual. Because these aspects of our humanity are deeply interconnected, we approach them as a whole. A symptom in any one area often signals that something is out of balance or needs tending to.
Welcoming the Body into the Process
Our therapists bring creativity and depth to the therapeutic process by fully welcoming the body into individual and couples work, where this feels like a good fit for you. We offer a range of body-oriented pathways of care that may include somatic psychotherapy, bodywork, psychoeducation in trauma and attachment, mindfulness, and spiritual integration.
Healing the Whole Person
Our holistic services are designed to address the pain, dis-ease, trauma, or chronic stress that touches all of our lives. None of us moves through life unscathed — and so processing and resolving old wounds has profound power to restore balance, safety, and connection.
Tailored, Intentional Care
We honor the uniqueness of every client, knowing that what brings healing for one person may not for another. That’s why we offer a range of therapeutic approaches that can be used on their own or combined into an intentional, personalized program of care. Together, we’ll create a plan for connection, healing, and change that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Practice Philosophy
Self of the Therapist Work
Human, Authentic, Congruent, Parallel
The Center for Connection, Healing & Change was created as a place where systemically trained professionals can come together to create, support, and inspire one another on the journey of fulfilling our potential. We value the community, nurturance, and feedback that our colleagues can offer as we hone our craft.
We believe that making space for the story of our humanity is not only a professional commitment, but a personal one. That’s why Self-of-the-Therapist work is woven into the fabric of our practice. Training, supervision, consultation, communication, leadership, and our practice culture are all organized around this premise. Secure attachment is not just something we offer to our clients and support them to create in their own worlds; it’s how we navigate our working relationships.
At our core, we believe therapy is a profoundly human-to-human encounter. It is the relationship itself — our openness, responsiveness, and emotional presence — that is the vehicle for meaningful, change-worthy, and even sacred work. As attachment-based therapists, we strive to serve as a secure base, steady ground, and a compassionate guide throughout the therapeutic process.
We also know that to offer this kind of care, we must continually do our own inner work. That means tending to our own struggles, relationship patterns, and wounds so they do not interfere with or limit the client’s experience. We must be willing to return to the parts of ourselves that have been hurt, explore the ways we learned to protect and survive, and move through unresolved pain.
We must trust our own capacity to come through hard things and reclaim the wholeness and security that lives within us. We must be willing to explore our own ways of connecting with others, asking for what we need, setting boundaries, risking intimacy, and being accessible and responsive to those we love.
To provide effective therapy, we must be active participants in the very process we invite our clients into. We believe in knowing firsthand what it is to grapple with pain, engage in healing, risk in relationships, and emerge with greater compassion, connection, creativity, curiosity, courage, clarity, and calm.
In this way, the services we offer are grounded not only in evidence-based models but also in the lived practice of Self-of-the-Therapist work. We endeavor to be human, congruent, authentic, and parallel in the therapeutic process: we will not ask our clients to access places we are unwilling to access ourselves — whether that is touching a hurt, risking vulnerability, or showing up fully in our most important relationships.
We strive to offer a soulful therapy space where professional excellence and personal growth are equal cornerstones of our philosophy. We honor the humanity of our therapists and encourage their intuition, creativity, and individual personhood alongside the practice of evidence-based models.
Above all, we are committed to being of service to you and the people you love most — fully aware that the journey may be difficult, but deeply confident and grounded in our own lived experience that it will be profoundly worth it.
